Soba Restaurant Fukube-san
The owner- chef moved to the town after closing his popular restaurant in Hiroshima City, wanting to cultivate buckwheat himself. Set in a traditional Japanese house, you can enjoy the noodles made with painstaking care. Bookings only.

Kagura (“God-entertainment”-Shinto ritual ceremonial dance)
We have three Kagura groups within the town. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday, there is a performance by a Kagura group from Hiroshima City. In addition, during the Fall Festival season in mid- October, we have performances taking place in different districts of the town.
Konnyaku restaurant Konnayku Saika Yuki-no-an
Managed by the konnyaku factory, many different types of konnyaku dishes are offered at an affordable price. The chef’s recommendation is the one called “Konnyaku Sanzoku Yaki.”
Yunoyama Hot Spring Centre
It’s famous for its outside “Utaseyu” bath, getting splashed directly with the source water falling naturally from 4m above.
We recommend you alternate using this bath with the ones inside. The area flourished as the local feudal lord used to stay here during the Edo period. The bath used at that time still remains and is designated as an Important Tangible National Folk Cultural Property (the only hot spring bath to hold this honor).
